Athens-based Blue Flashing Light has been confronted with a good-news/bad-news scenario, and band members couldn’t be happier.

The bad news? Blue Flashing Light won’t be appearing, as previously expected, for this year’s music portion of South By Southwest Music and Media Conference in Austin, Texas, which begins today and concludes on Sunday. The good news is the five-piece band can’t make it to Texas because they’ll be in China instead.
