B-52’s album reflects the past
It’s so hard to be incognito in Athens - when you’re the B-52’s. Last spring, you could hardly walk downtown without hearing word of “a B-s sighting” - or having a sighting of your own. “I just saw Fred (Schneider) in a bucket hat buying tofu at the grocery!” Or, “Guess what! I heard the B-52’s practicing at Chick Piano and saw them come out of one of the rehearsal rooms - they were amazing!” Mmm hmm. If there’s one thing you know if you know the B’s, it’s that the band loves Athens.
