If vocalist Ben Stevens ever developed a slogan to characterize his music, it might be something like “Respect Your Roots.” One of the numerous artists affiliated with Nolan Terrebonne, Elite Tha Showstoppa and their combined TNEB-RCP syndicate, Stevens will celebrate the release of his debut CD, the five-song “The Acoustic Sessions Vol. 1″ with a pair of performances on Saturday, the second of which will showcase many of the musical craftsmen developing their chops as part of this emerging consortium. Stevens and Terrebonne will preview songs from the EP at 3 p.m. at Farm 255, and a CD release party - featuring the likes of Son1 & The Insurgents, Deaf Judges, Sursie, Elite, C-Fresh, Bear and Gus D - will begin at 10 p.m. at the Caledonia Lounge.
