Lady Antebellum
8 p.m., Georgia Theatre

This country music trio consists of two UGA alumni, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, and Hillary Scott. Lady Antebellum released their self-titled, debut album earlier this month on Capitol Records Nashville. Just two years ago, all three members were Nashville, Tenn.-based singer-songwriters waiting for their big breaks. As a band, their music retains the honesty and earnestness of the singer-songwriter sound while incorporating classic country records, 1960s soul and a contemporary country edge into the mix. Tickets are $10. - Trisha Klein

Global Endeavors Benefit concert
9 p.m., Tasty World, upstairs

The Redcoats, The Empties and The Shredders will perform to benefit Global Endeavors’s trip to Ghana this summer to help build a medical clinic. Local rock band The Empties plays an infectious mix of pop and garage rock. Local band The Shredders covers all the songs that used to make your little heart pitter-patter with glee on Saturday mornings - cartoon theme songs from classic shows like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Transformers, David the Gnome and Inspector Gadget. - Trisha Klein

David Barbe and the Quick Hooks
9 p.m., Caledonia

Local musician and producer Barbe will perform with his band, the Quick Hooks. Barbe has produced albums and tracks for R.E.M and the Drive-By Truckers, and was a member of ’90s alternative band Sugar with Bob Mould of Husker Du. - Trisha Klein
