Lady Antebellum

This country music trio consists of two UGA alumni, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, and Hillary Scott. Lady Antebellum released their self-titled, debut album earlier this month on Capitol Records Nashville. Just two years ago, all three members were Nashville, Tenn.-based singer-songwriters waiting for their big breaks. As a band, their music retains the honesty and earnestness of the singer-songwriter sound while incorporating classic country records, 1960s soul and a contemporary country edge into the mix. Global Endeavors Benefit concert

The Redcoats, The Empties and The Shredders will perform to benefit Global Endeavors’s trip to Ghana this summer to help build a medical clinic. Local rock band The Empties plays an infectious mix of pop and garage rock.
