Dark Meat evidently got held up by blizzards for a couple of days in Denver on their spring tour, but will be playing in St. Louis tonight. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch has a story and interview with Jim McHugh. Their tour continues through the end of the month.

Local Americana and alt-country musician Jim White, left, will play to support his new album, “Transnormal Skiperoo.” White’s shows are often a mix of musical performance and storytelling. Asheville, N.C.-based indie pop rock band If You Wannas plays catchy, upbeat tunes. They’ll be joined by Little Francis, a local act that plays bluesy roots music inspired by ’50s rock ‘n’ roll and church music. - Trisha Klein
