Mayhem String Band
7-10 p.m., The Melting Point

Playing as part of the Terrapin Tuesdays bluegrass series, the Mayhem String Band will combine “outlaw” bluegrass and comedy for a hell-raising good time. Admission is $3. - Trisha Klein

Lullwater, Sweetness
8:30 p.m., Flicker Theatre and Bar

Local rock band Lullwater combines ’90s, modern rock, classic and folk rock that’s inspired by local, breakthrough acts Widespread Panic and the Drive-by Truckers as well as Pearl Jam and the Foo Fighters. Sweetness claims to be the greatest pop band to come out of California. See if they live up to the hype tonight. - Trisha Klein

Spring Tigers, Imaginary Johnny
10 p.m., Caledonia Lounge

Local band Spring Tigers plays indie pop that combines ’90s post punk and electronica. Frontman Kris Barratt formerly led The Capes, a Britpop band based in the United Kingdom, but relocated to Athens to marry the girl he loved. Brooklyn-based indie rock band Imaginary Johnny will also play. - Trisha Klein
