Flagpole music awards (grovel)
It's that time of year again, kids. With Athfest bearing down on us, it's time to vote for your favorite Athens bands in the Flagpole Athens Music Awards. They have 20 categories ranging from Jazz/Swing to Favorite Album Cover Art. You can get a ballot in the magazine or you can vote online here. And now, for a shameless grovel. If you like what we're doing here at athensmusic.com, how about a vote for Strongest Supporter of the Music Scene? The awards will be presented June 17 at the Morton Theatre as a kick-off for Athfest activities.
