New Music from Ken Will Morton
Here's another New Music offering that's a little bit overdue. Ken Will Morton struck his musical persona with the Indicators, an Atlanta band that had a reputation as a Southern rock band. But Morton decided to break off for a solo career, which is much more in the Texas boogies-and-ballads scheme than anything else. He's been playing around town quite a bit in recent months, and has Michelle Roche as his publicist, which means he's going to get heard somewhere. His solo debut is "In Rock 'N' Roll's Hands." You can check out four tracks here and learn a bit more about it. If you get a chance, check him out around town or elsewhere. (And if anyone's familiar with Shake Russell, a Texas musician from a few years back, you'll hear some similarities.)
