Free music

I stumbled upon a very interesting Web site that offers free live shows in exchange for blanks and postage. The site, called (appropriately enough) blanksandpostage.com, is easy to navigate and appears to be soliciting bands for live shows to provide to their readers. In their own words: "We are a grassroots organization dedicated to becoming your one stop source for legal free music from some of your favorite regional and national acts as well as from the bands that you need to be hearing but have not been exposed to yet." Athens own Green Light Council and Tishamingo join the likes of The Redbelly Band (appearing at The Georgia Theatre 12-30-04), The Strange and Lotus. Check it out if you can afford stamps and CD-R's.
