Athens 441 is a first-class concert promoting the rich music found in Athens. Named for the classic U.S. Highway linking Miami and Canada, Athens 441 will be a live recording radio program (to be aired in 2006 on 15 stations covering 6 states) that features both local and national musicians. November 18's concert features performances by Dromedary Quartet, The Packway Handle Band, and Ordinary Germans Like Yourselves. This event also celebrates the release of Dromedary's new CD. Sponsors include the Morton Theatre Corporation, WUGA-FM, Athens-Clarke County, Nomad Artists, AthensCloud.com, Flagpole Magazine and athensmusic.net. Event is suitable for all ages and is open to the public.
