Katrina benefit tonight at Ga Bar

From Jim Ethridge via Michelle Roche: A benefit concert, with all proceeds going to the Tipitina's Foundation, will be held at the Georgia Bar tonight with three solo acts.

Musicians CLAY LEVERETT (Lona, The Chasers), JESS FRANKLIN (Tishamingo) and JOSH STACK (formerly Cubanstack) have generously donated their time for this effort. Stack also happens to be one of the minds behind Panic Fans For Food, which organizes food drives at Widespread Panic concerts. Lucky for us, he is also a talented songwriter.

Each musician will perform an acoustic set with the music beginning at 10 p.m. The cost of admission is $5 and all the money will aid New Orleans musicians and music affected by Hurricane Katrina.
