Tishamingo, M Coast, Summer Hymns

Despite being misidentified as a Tallahassee-based band, Tishamingo gets some love here. The band was recently added to the 2006 Bonnaroo line-up, too.

Marshmallow Coast is now M Coast. Cable & Tweed has a fearless prediction and new songs for your listening pleasure here. C&T also has a few words re: Modern Skirts. The blog also reports a 7-6-06 Mendoza Line gig at The EARL in Atlanta. No word on a local date, yet.

The AthFest Web site does not confirm this, but Summer Hymns' MySpace site suggests it: Expect the band to perform Saturday at 8 p.m. on the main stage.

I've refrained from posting info related to Danger Mouse because he's no longer local, but since I mentioned Mendoza Line a breath ago - and they haven't been local for years - here's a Gnarls Barkley piece from USA Today.
