Calling all songwriters

I got this e-mail and thought I'd pass it along in case any songwriters out there might find it of interest:

Hear Ye, Writers and Musicians,

The Athens chapter of Nashville Songwriters Association International will meet at 7 pm, Monday, May 22, 2006 at the UGa Graduate and Family Housing Building at 710 E Campus Road, Athens GA.

The Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) includes songwriters from all genres of music, professional and amateur, who are committed to protecting the rights and future of the profession of songwriting, and to educate, elevate, and celebrate the songwriter and to act as a unifying force within the music community and the community at large. ...

Attendance is already paid for if you're an NSAI member, free if you're a visitor, $10 if you're a regular nonmember.
It's worthwhile to become a member of NSAI so you can take full advantage of the opportunities it offers.
NSAI membership benefits include the song evaluation service, a chance to have your songs included on compilation CDs, discounts on events such as Symposium, Songposium, Song Camps, and the annual CMT / NSAI Song Contest.
Check out the main website at www.nashvillesongwriters.com

Regular Members: Please go to the website and listen to Phil Goldberg's lesson webcast from April 27, 2006. This will be our starting topic during the first part of the meeting.

Till we meet again,

Brian Edwards
